“time after grad”

There was a shift in life, and it happened with my music as well.

This cover is different from the rest, it isn’t a photograph of mine.

It’s a dall-e creation I made when I finally got my hands on it.

Since I was in high school, I always found comfort in visiting the different piers in the city, so often that I have a favorite pier because I believe it has the best view of sunsets. I spent my time at that spot in awe of how beautiful nature is and amazed at how it is free for all of us to experience if we just looked up at a certain time of the day.

My Inspiration

“Two lovers holding each other at the end of a pier during a sunset with two shooting stars heading towards each other, oil on canvas, Jean-honoré fragonard style”

My 1st Prompt

What Was Generated

Of course, you already know my final choice is in my first batch.

However, I wanted to see if I can get something even better, so I selected the last one and generated variations of it.

At this point of the process, I already liked what was generated. But still, I wanted to know if there was something else I can add to the sky.

“Two lovers holding each other at the end of a pier during a sunset with two shooting stars heading towards each other, lantern lights in the sky, oil on canvas, Jean-honoré fragonard style”

My 2nd Prompt

What Was Generated

By adding, “lantern lights in the sky”, I meant the lights from the animation film, “Tangled” and it’s clear that wasn’t received by the AI, so I decided to adjust the prompt once again.

My 3rd Prompt

“Two lovers holding each other at the end of a pier during a sunset, lantern lights from tangled in the sky, oil on canvas, Jean-honoré fragonard style”

What Was Generated

By adding, “from Tangled”, I hoped that the AI got the reference since it was such an iconic scene and it’s clear that wasn’t received by the AI, so I adjusted the prompt once again.

My 4th Prompt

“Two lovers holding each other at the end of a pier during a sunset, floating lantern lights in the sky, oil on canvas, Jean-honoré fragonard style”

What Was Generated

Unfortunately, this was still not what I was thinking of. It seemed like it was straying too far from my original plans, so I decided to review what I liked from all of the generations.

My Top Picks

I was very proud of the options I had and it was actually pretty tough to choose my final pick. Each one was so different, and I decided that the option from my first batch was the best fit for this playlist. This playlist is mostly slow songs with a few upbeat ones, but all with a level of dreaminess.
